The information available via this website is the result of research over many years into my own ancestors and those of my wife Jessica. Although I have made considerable use of the internet in recent years, the bulk of my research has involved consulting original documents in archives and libraries, either to verify information found using the internet or to search for information neither available nor indexed online.

Unlike some family historians who consider it acceptable to copy the work of others without verification, and often without permission, the information available via this website is based on my own research. From time to time I have been supplied with helpful information by various other people, to whom I am very grateful, but I have always verified such information by repeating the research myself.

I would be pleased to make contact with anyone who is researching the same families. I have accumulated a large amount of information about a relatively small number of individuals, but have little or no additional information about the others.
